    Rawai Travel Guide

The beach towns of Rawai and Nai Harn hold a certain charm about them. Tucked deep in the far south of Phuket, they offer a sense of tranquillity that is quite unique, despite having vibrant night scenes and an impressive range of restaurants.

There is a sense of peacefulness that can be observed throughout. To get there you can either take the main road south starting from Chalong circle or you can just follow the west coast through Karon and passing Karon viewpoint. Rawai sub-district is famous for a few things, but especially for its most visited sunset viewpoint, Phromthep Cape.

    Attractions in Rawai

Promthep Cape is where the island ends in the beautiful turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea. It can get a bit hectic during sunset with Thai, Chinese and Russian tourists, but onee the huge numbers of minivans and tour-busses are gone, you have the area virtually to yourself. There are two main beaches in the south. One is Rawai beach, located east of Phromthep Cape and the other one is Nai Harn beach, just north of the outcrop.
