This is one of my favorite spots in Patong. Owners and staff are really friendly, the food is delicious and very reasonably priced considering the amazing views this restaurant offers over Patong beach. Perfect for a late afternoon drink, watch the sunset and have some dinner. I especially like the fajitas and the ribs. Huge selection of Thai food and seafood dishes available as well.
What I like about Shakers is that they serve big portions of comfort food. You can go to Shakers for a sandwich, a salad, a burger or spaghetti, but also to enjoy an all you can eat bbq. I especially like the fondue and the Belgian specials and two of my favourite dishes are the Cordon Bleu and the Vol au Vent. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food. And they organise their own deliveries in Rawai and Chalong, perfect on a lazy or rainy day.
This is by far my favorite Irish Pub in Patong. It's conveniently located in Jungceylon shopping mall and the decoration and atmosphere are just perfect. The staff all speak English, are friendly and well-trained regarding food and drink items. The menu covers the usual food items you will find on a pub menu, but the owners and the chef take it a step further with steaks on stone, pizzas and Mexican dishes. All major sporting events are shown on big TV screens, there is a great weekly pub quiz on Wednesday evenings and they run daily specials on food and...
Whenever I'm in Patong for a night out with friends, we usually end up in TaiPan Disco. It's easy to walk in and out, there's a bar at the right when you walk in so easy to order your drinks without having to go through the crowd. There's one more bar located against the back wall. The dance floor is located in the centre and on the left is the VIP section. Drinks are reasonably priced for a nightlife venue in the centre of Patong. Never had a problem with security, the staff, the bills or other party goers. Entrance...
This is one of the few places on Bangla Road I still go to after living here for over 18 years. I remember it started as a small bar on the 1st floor of Soi Easy and now its an entire street. It is without a doubt the best spot to watch live sports with over 60 screens. There are pool tables on each floor, even an air-conditioned area looking as a diner with more pool tables. They serve great pub grub and ice cold beers at very reasonable prices considering the location. I definitely recommend the Assie Bar in...
