Nai Yang beach is located just south of Phuket International Airport and is fringed with casuarina trees who provide the necessary shade for beachgoers. The northern stretch is also part of the Sirinat National Park where you might have to pay a small entrance fee … or not. There are a few dining options and when they are not serving customers, the polyvalent waitresses also can offer you a massage or manicure. Make sure that you grab your cold beer before the sunset and enjoy the view.
Just like its northern neighbor, Naithon beach is equally quiet. The most quiet part of the beach is beside the small rock formation. Believe it or not, there is even a long-tail boat service that can bring scuba divers to a nearby coral reef. Also located on Naithon beach is the eco-friendly and increasingly popular Elephant Jungle Sanctuary where you can scrub, cuddle and bath your gentle giants.
